Have been in the travel industry for 33 years. They regularly travel to Europe and within South Africa. Favourite travel experience: "Vietnam - we visited Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh. Hanoi was definitely the highlight of our trip. It is an amazing city and had fabulous art as well! Next on our bucket list would be Myanmar?
Sydney Mashego
Is owner/partner at Dana Agency. "I started my travel career with Dana Agency and they have become part of my family. One of my favourite destinations is Reunion Island - it is a very diverse destination and seeing a newly erupted volcano with lava and smoke was definitely something to remember. He has travelled to Mauritius, Reunion, Hong Kong, various countries in Europe.
Paula Peters
Paula joined us in February 2016 as Business Manager. Originally from Zimbabwe, she started her career in travel in 1976. Her happiest times are when she is travelling, and endeavours to put itineraries together for travellers as if she herself were doing the trip. Prior to joining us, Paula was a Business Manager with HRG Rennies Travel in Johannesburg when the call of the wild beckoned her to Mpumalanga.
Wendy Deary
Grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to South Africa in 1990. She has been with Dana Agency since 2008 as a senior consultant but has been in travel for 22 years. She has travelled to India, China, Dubai, Borneo, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, USA, Greece, Brasil, UK, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Mauritius. "If I could pick a place to go back to it would definitely be Turkey because the culture and people were so vibrant and friendly. And there is nothing nicer than turkish delight ?
Hlobisile Nkosi
Hlobisile began her career journey at Dana Agency as an intern, where she immersed herself in the dynamics of corporate travel. Through dedication and a passion for global mobility, she earned a promotion and expanded her responsibilities within the company. A defining highlight of her career development was traveling to Europe , namely the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and France. This professional growth cemented her belief in a simple truth: “you’ve absolutely got to love travelling."
Dima Makete
Dima is a seasoned Travel and Tourism specialist with over 11 years of experience driving excellence in passenger services and hospitality. She currently serves as a Travel Consultant at Dana Agency, a role she assumed in May 2026.
Dima’s industry journey began in 2012 after earning her National Diploma from the Vaal University of Technology. She launched her career at StayEasy Hotel, where a foundational internship quickly propelled her into the aviation sector. She then spent a remarkable decade at Airlink, mastering airline operations and developing a sharp expertise in client relations.
Known for her genuine passion for global exploration, Dima excels at connecting with individuals from all walks of life. Her unique blend of hospitality grounding and deep aviation knowledge allows her to design seamless, world-class travel experiences for every client.
Penny Promnitz
For Penny, travel is not just a career—it is a lifelong passion. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Penny developed a deep love for the African bushveld, its wildlife, and its wide-open spaces early on. Since entering the travel industry in 1989, She has spent over three decades exploring the globe, from the beaches of Thailand and Mauritius to the cultural landscapes of Europe, Malaysia, and India.
While these international destinations are spectacular, Africa ultimately holds Penny’s heart. Today, they leverage their wealth of firsthand experience and local knowledge to help clients design unforgettable, tailor-made African holidays. Penny thrives on sharing the magic of the continent, ensuring every itinerary creates memories that last a lifetime.
Bridget Schoeman
Joined Dana in November 2024. Prior to this, Bridget worked for AirLink Nelspruit Airport for 9 years. She loves the travel industry and looks forward to growing into the best travel advisor she can be.
Zweli Bhiya
Zweli joined the team in November 2016 as an intern. He has grown into an all- rounder that slots into every department from AA to travel bookings and finance. He loves travel and wants to be able to travel the world one day.
Christina Ndlovu
Is a receptionist and AA consultant. She has been with Dana Agency since 2022 .

Has been with Dana Agency since 2009 and is the HR and Admin manager. She has travelled to Buenos Aires, Bariloche and Mauritius. "I have quite a long list of destinations that I would still like to see but at the top of my list is going to see the Migration in Kenya”
